Snorkeling

It’s the perfect activity for families and groups of friends and it appeals to all ages because of how little effort it requires.

Snorkeling is an aquatic leisure practice in which we can observe the seafloor by swimming on the surface while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped tube (called a snorkel) and fins (that’s why the French name PMT, for Palmes/Masque/Tuba). We also wear a wetsuit for buoyancy.

We usually practice it in not very deep waters in order to explore the hidden and silent sea life underneath from the surface. It allows you to identify sea animals from sea plants, get closer from fishes, observe octopuses, starfishes, sea urchins and many others different mollusks.

Our instructors would be with you all along; they supervise, ensure your safety, give advises and answer all of your questions during the practice. During the activity, you can also initiate yourself to marine biology thanks to our detailed and illustrated booklet specially created for this practice.

We propose you two different tours according to your budget and the forecast:

  • The Discovery tour, to initiate into the snorkeling practice and discover the Algajola’s Bay seafloor.
  • The Balagne tour, to explore the coastline on board of one of our boats and to immerse in a remarkable place.
